Apart from that, visitors can enjoy the wild beauty of this small and rocky island. Beautiful sandy beaches and postcard landscapes make you feel free from the civilized world. Besides, the picturesque tavernas and cafes, especially in the Folegandros town (Chora), add value to this marvelous island. The traditional food is cock with "matsata" (traditional homemade pasta).

If you want to taste the best creme brulee in Lesvos island, visit the cafe "Pantheon" in the center of Mytilini town. Not only this dessert will make you fun of this cafe, but also the variety and quality of all their sweets.

The one and only hotel I would recommend, located in the center of Mytilini town (Lesvos island), is called "The Tower of Mytilini". As you may see from the photos below, the rooms are traditionally decorated and some of them have an extraordinary view of the port. Besides, I have to point out that the breakfast is delicious as there is a variety of handmade delicacies.
